I sent my son to this driving school even though he wanted to go with his buddies to another "top rated" (sic) driving school. I am truly impressed by the great curriculum both in class and in car that he went through. The in-car was really amazing... he got to learn and do things that his buddies never even came close to doing... things that may one day save his life. I have to admit I learned things from my son even though I consider myself a good driver. This program is a bit more expensive than the competition but my son is worth every penny if it means he will stay alive on our crazy roads. Read more

I am very happy that I have found this clinic, they just opened in my neighbourhood (St. Clair West) last Fall. I have been going for prenatal massage regularly, I have tried a few registered massage therapists there, they are all very good in listening to my needs, and they are very professional. I also like the atmosphere there, it's clean and calming, not your average wellness clinic, and I trust the therapists there, you can tell they are more professional than the ones in a spa. I had headaches during my first trimester, the owner practices acupuncture therapy there, he gave me a few treatments and it helped a lot. I was skeptical about acupuncture before, and was afraid of needles, but it didn't hurt at all, and I felt way better after. I just want to thanks them and will definitely recommended my family and friends. Read more

One of my family's perennial haunts. We stumbled upon it while looking for a meal the night before a vacation, and now it is one of our favourite restaurants. Our usual order consists of 2 tofu satays with roti, one tofu mee goreng, and one hakka chow mein, but we also love Thai curry. Theirs (red and green) are both excellent. The only troubling bit is the music in the background. When it isn't reimagined version of pop songs (a bit repetitive), it's CHFI, the local adult contemporary radio station (complete with advertisements; a joy at Christmas). To sum up: Grossly undervisited, deserves more people through the door and cash through the register. Read more

I discovered this place in the Yellow Pages years ago when trying to find a pair of sunglasses. No one understood what I was looking for until I came here. Issac understood what I was saying when i told him I needed sunglasses to make the world duller not brighter because of my sensitive eyes. He recommended a pair of Maui Jim's with a grey lense vs a bronze lense. They wre perfect. Since then have bough reading glasses for my husband, regular glasses for me -amazing selection and they really know their stuff. Finally went in to buy new contacts and he recommended bi-focal lenses vs regular which I love! I now no longer need to wear reading glasses with my contacts.Highly recommend them. Read more

The entire presentation makes it very pleasant experience. It is definitely more expensive than some of the other sushi places in Toronto. Tucked in the basement of the St. Lawrence Market, Yanni's has become a new family tradition. The Greek breakfast has a lovely omellette, nicely garnished with an orange slice. Golden brown toast and hash browns make it heavy on the carbs, but hey, it's Saturday. The Greek baked potato is filled with feta cheese and tzatziki, a wonderful alternative to French fries. The lamb shank dinner is my daughter's favourite breakfast. Served up with rice and a fresh Greek salad, it is a strange but healthy breakfast. The service is fast and friendly.
