My husband and I went for lunch on a Wednesday. There were quite a few customers enjoying their meal. The 1/4 chicken dinner was delicious. Home made fries (not frozen), a fresh Italian style roll, and Swiss Chalet dipping sauce., and of course, the rotisserie chicken. Good Canadian food at it’s best! Not too spicy, with lots of flavour. Very satisfying. And did I mention the friendly service? The owner even came to our table to ensure we were well taken care of. Halibut is also excellent.! Read more

Stayed at a nearby hotel downtown Edmonton, they are just down the street. Great service, and great food. I could taste the quality in the home made chips and dip. Beef stew with creme fresh was great and thick. Flattens sourdough toast was a eye catching and flavorful accompaniment. Rosemary chicken sandwich with salad was tasty and fresh. The frozen yogurt is always tasting great and they are nice enough to go through the ingredients with us when we are curious. Very welcoming and clean place. I have never seen it otherwise. This amazing buffet is open! There are many safety measures in place: masks, tables are social distanced, serving utensils can only be used once (by cohort group) and then sent to be washed and sanitized., etc. We three senior ladies went on a Sunday evening. The food was fresh and delicious. Couldn’t be better! A little pricey in the evening (although seniors get $2.00 off), but worth every penny. Excellent service, with safety measures in place.
