My husband and I celebrated our 20th anniversary at The Bicycle Thief last night. We waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for our meal after the order was taken. Totally unable to have any conversation during our wait (noisy). I had ravioli that consisted of 8 pieces of ravioli in a sauce for $21.00 so I left feeling hungry. Went here for lunch but will not be back. I must say the food here is very good. Unfortunately the Service Manager or Waiter is very pushy and will invite himself into your conversations. He invited himself to sample our food (which we declined), he kept trying to hit on us, and stood over us until we ordered. In addition, there were 4 gentlemen just standing around the bar looking around the whole time. It was annoying. I am Italian and have been to many great Italian restaurants, but this is not one of them. It has great potential, great decor and great food but lacks in customer service.
