Here is my unbiased unpaid for review after visiting the restaurant last night. This is a high quality, high end buffet. Where other buffets people eat at and do not complain because a lower food quality is expected for buffet this restaurant surpassed all my expectations. One of the best restaurants I have been to in GTA. For the price paid the food is 10/10, ambiance 10/10 and service 10/10. Read more

We discovered this restaurant tonight and enjoyed a lovely evening. The decor is lovely and the tables give one a feeling of privacy. The service was excellent as was the food. I spend most weekends in Collingwood. I've eaten in many restaurants in the area, but haven't been to the Post in a while. The last time I was there was under the old ownership and couldn't believe how bland the food was, and how dirty and unkept the restaurant was. I counted no less than 5 dead flies on the window sills. I previously had the baked penne carbonara and it had no flavour. The waiter told me they used 2 % milk instead of cream ! I heard there were new owners and decided to give it a try last week with my husband and two friends. The place was spotless (and no dead flies !), service incredible and one of the best meals we've all had in a while. We especially loved the curry and halibut & chips, and pasta. Amazing desserts ! one of our usual food places, as we can walk to it, and the food is good. The owners have a great attitude (desert first for the kids!), are very friendly, as are the staff. ( Only thing I would change is maybe the menu could change up a little more often.) Just an example-my 5 year old came in holding a birthday card she received in the mail that day, and we were going for lunch. The owner came and talked to us for a bit, engaging my daughter in a little talk, then after lunch, the whole serving staff, plus owner, came out of the kitchen singing happy birthday to my little girl, with a free plate of deserts, with her name written in chocolate. I rated this Keg a 4 but that is a balance of infleucnes because there is a good side and a down side. The good: the cleavage OR the mini-skirts. Notice that checking out some cleavage on young ladies or short skirts is pure entertainment and super. BUt for some very strange reason no waitress has both of them. Its either this or that. What is the story? I dont know. The girls with cleavage have pants, the girls in minis have no cleavage. STRANGE> the other down side is the kids. People, if you have three kids can you ask them to stay at home or leave their baseball caps at home? this is a high class restaurant. There is a burger place around the corner did you mean to take them there? I am not going to come back and order alcohol if there are kids around.
