My family and I have been coming to Grog's for years now. It's a great place to come to enjoy friends, food, and have a laugh. The service at Grog's is unbelievable great! Everyone is so nice and brings a positive atmosphere to the restaurant. It is always a good idea to make reservations before going to Grog's because it is always busy, in a good way. The location is just outside of the Grand Bend Strip, about a 10 minute drive with a lot of parking. It's a great place to go after a long day at the beach. Now, the food at this restaurant is fantastic. It is always fresh and delicious. My favourite dish there is the panzarotti with their famous zany bread, which I highly recommend. All the dishes they have on the menu are prepared in a timely manager and it never disappoints. Grog’s is a great place to bring your family and friends and enjoy all the wonderful people and food. I loved everything about this place. I overheard the people beside me where having an amazing dinner and asked if the manager/owner would come out so they could tell him how good the meal was. Without me calling him over, he came over to us and asked how our meal was. He was very polite. The classic Burger was done to perfection. The waitress was extremely polite. I just had to come home from my great dinner tonight in Bayfield and share my fantastic experience at this hidden gem called Davincis. Apparently this used to be a Cafe but the Owners have expanded their menu and now serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. I had no idea they were fully licensed!! The dinner we had tonight in the Garden Patio was by far the best I've had in Bayfield. I enjoyed a beautiful poached salmon with a lemon dill sauce, my partner had a huge lamb shank and our friends had the ribs from the Friday BBQ Menu. They boasted that they were fall off the bone ribs. We all were very pleased with our dinners and topped it off by sharing the delicious strawberry rhubarb pie and carrot cake. I look forward to my next visit to Bayfield just so I can return to this great place again!!! Read more

A pleasant stop if you are in Ilderton, and especially if you are a fan of a pub atmosphere and cask conditioned ale. I've been here several times, and I usually stick with the nachos because they are a great value and are also quite tasty. But I have had the Steak and Guinness Pie which is also quite the treat. Service has always been great when I have been. I always get a few pints of cask ale when I go, and am never disappointed. It is always fresh and well kept. Rich is a true cellarmaster and knows his beer. As a result, this is a destination for lovers of true cask ale, and the only place in the south west of Ontario to try this unique style of ale. The atmosphere is comfy, nice booths, a bar to sit at, a seperate room with televisions for those inclined to watch a game, and there is also a large screen in the main room for the larger events. Overall, highly a recommended stop if you are in Ilderton or area. No where else near here can you get cask ale, great service, and really tasty food. I'll be back! Read more
