Last Saturday I followed up on my inquiry with a nice lady at Windsor weeks previously about repairing a door for me. I brought the door in for repair. Found myself facing an AHou of a middle aged man who seemed preterbed at being inconvenienced during noon hour. I wanted the door fixed, I would pay, then pick up the door next week. Sounds simple to me. AHou was unable to understand this. Took my $400.00 to Rona. Bought a new door.
Very low quality plywood for the price. I wasted many many days because of it. I learned too late that I could have gotten a higher grade from a different supplier for the same price. The hardwoods sold at this store are also overpriced. I would not recommend this merchant for plywoods or hardwoods.
As I prefer to "shop local", I have been shopping at this business location for years. I ran into my first hiccup recently when an employee damaged my vehicle with some wood. The damage is fairly minor, and when I brought it up with the manager, instead of any interest in seeing the damage or keeping me as a customer, he accused me of doing it myself. Saying your "policy" is if your employee damages a customers property, it is the customers responsibility. After that, I am taking my business elswhere. Thanks for nothing. an ex-customer.
Awesome freindly staff, knowledgeable and eager to serve. Windsor always has what I am after, or will order to suit my needs. I highly recomment Windsor Plywood for any building supplies, paints, tools and specialty items.
